Michael Mulieri Wins Maryland State Amateur Championship
6/8/2008 - Loyola golfer Michael Mulieri won the 87th Maryland State Amateur Championship on Sunday with a 4 and 2 victory in the match play final. The Greyhound captain qualified with a scoring round and then beat the oppressive weekend heat and advanced through five rounds of match play to claim the 2008 title at Woodholme Country Club in suburban Baltimore.
